Tender Leaf Toys design high-quality wooden toys with a strong focus on child development. Attention is paid to the open-ended play value of each toy and the educational benefits it offers. Designed to be passed on from sibling to sibling and future generations. Tender Leaf use non-toxic paint, sustainable rubberwood and each toy is free of formaldehyde. They only work with reclaimed rubberwood, a by-product of the latex industry, grown on plantations, not forests, ensuring that the wood they use is completely sustainable. In addition, for every reclaimed tree they use, in partnership with the Indonesian government, they plant a new tree, driving ahead of the cycle of regeneration. This is SVLK Indonesian Legal Wood.

From raw wood to the finished product, every single stage of production happens under the same roof in Indonesia. Once each toy has been hand-painted, assembled and checked, it is wrapped in paper and packaged in recycled cardboard. Tender Leaf Toys care a lot about being as sustainable to our lovely planet as we can be, and are close to eliminating single-use plastic in all of their packaging.

Tender Leaf Toys has been awarded the ICTI seal of approval and strive to maintain ethically high standards throughout their organisation. All toy products meet the European, American, Australian and New Zealand standard safety of toys according to EN71, ASTM and AS/NZS ISO.
