Colour Recognition
The whole world around us is filled with colour and from around the age of 18 months, children will see the differences between the colours. From this initial introduction, they will start to classify items and objects based on their colours. While children can start to differentiate between the different colours around 18 months it can take some children until they are around 3 years old to understand the differences between the colours and start to name them.
Here you will find a collection of beautiful bright toys to introduce, discuss and expand a child's knowledge about colours.
