Sensory Play
Sensory play activities and toys are a fun way for children to develop an understanding of the world around them and their place in it. Imaginative toys and experiences that stimulate a child's sense of touch, smell, taste, sight, hearing, balance (vestibular) and movement (proprioception) are crucial for brain development and sensory processing.
Sensory play also aids in the development of:
- Problem solving and logic.
- Motor skills.
- Language.
- Social skills and concentration.
- Nerve connections in the brain leading to increased muscle memory.
